How can i remove pimples with natural home remedies?

Posted by admin on Jul 31, 2010 under Natural Remedies

I have seen people either get rid or decrease their pimples with natural remedies from home and I wondered what I could use. So are there any natural home remedies you use and if yes please put it down.

Natural Home Remedies :
Gram Flour, Termeric powder, Plain Yogurt or Curd, Milk or water…the measurements arent really needed….Make a paste out of it….Leave it on until it becomes dry…Its called Basin, it actually makes your skin fresh looking….be careful not to add too much termeric powder…just half a spoon…Also Lime Juice is good for your skin…but i am not sure if it would remove all pimples….
Here’s another way you could do it:
go to lovelyskin.com and you can find products there that can absolutely satisfy you, also if your buying anything, by the Obaig kit..dont buy it seprately…Also, if you can find one, get a Oil Control product (Netrogena Rapid Oil Control) Its usually in a orange and white tube…..it works great on me..I see less and less pimples… Next if you can find a body or face scrub, its good to make the pimples less noticiable…Also, one last tip, is that wash your face at least 3 times a day with products…Once in teh morning when you wake up, next after you go for an outing, or extra activities, etc and last, right when your about to sleep…Also dont forget to apply cream after each wash…not too much..but as neccessary..dont make it to oily or too dry..I recommend Ponds cream…it works great on my skin

Help Needed on self piercing my nipples?

Posted by admin on Jul 31, 2010 under Self Help

Okay before you say don’t do it dot do it I know the precautions I order in a kit that is all sterilized and I will sterilize it again before using it. I am doing this in a extremely clean area. I just need a step by step please I am not being stupid. I need the help so only helpful answers.
I am using a professional kit to peirce them I need to know where though i want them horizontal.
My Boyfriend is doing them
do they need to be hard?

if the kit has ink for marking, use that and check the marks to make sure they’re even and right where you want. center the clamp on the mark, take a deep breath and do it. don’t hesitate. i had a needle stop halfway through my nose and it isn’t fun. thats really about it. repeat on the other side. (my peircer used only one needle for both, but he drenched me in iodine first) you can insert the tip of your jewlery into the end of the needle so that when you pull it out, the bar is in. no fear of losing the hole.

i have mine done. it doesn’t hurt too bad if you use the hypodermic needle. just make sure that your boyfriend knows to make them straight and make sure everything is all clean and steril. you certainly don’t want that to get infected.
it’ll be sore for a few weeks, but make sure to wear your bra. it hurts worse when your shirt rubs against it.

for aftercare, use 1/2 teaspoon sea salt dissolved in 1C. warm water. put it into two dixie cups and them put it over your peircings. just like that Madonna look from the 90s. let it soak in about 15 min, 3 times per day and use a good antimicrobial soap in the shower. last thing in the shower to make sure you get any residue from other cleansers out.

and you’ll want to stay out of the walk-in cooler for a while. that really hurts if you’re not ready for it.

Low self-esteem. Please help!?

Posted by admin on Jul 20, 2010 under Self Help

I have always had low self-esteem but it’s getting to the point where I am becoming seriously depressed. I have always thought of myself as ugly and having poor body issues as well. This wouldn’t be so bad if it wasn’t affecting my relationships. I’ve become really cold and insensitive towards the ones that I love. They tell me all the time that I am beautiful inside and out but I can never believe them. Can anyone help me? I don’t want to be this person anymore.

Thanks!

Best answer gets 10 points.

awww =( lauren! that’s awful. I’m sure you’re actually beautiful, you just don’t see it. I used to be a camp counselor and at the beginning of the camp (first day), we’d make these things called "magic cards" bare with me lol…they sounds pretty stupid but what they are, are little index cards that have something that others& you love about yourself. For example: one kid could have a card that said: I love how funny you are, or I love that you are so sweet and caring. Make like 15 of these cards for yourself. I don’t care how corny it sounds, DO IT! :) It really will help, everyday look at the cards and believe them. To get some ideas, try asking your family members, or friends, what do you like about me? If you ever need to talk email me :)

With all this emphasis on healthy living and lifestyles, why are their all-natural beauty contests?

Posted by admin on Jul 17, 2010 under Healthy Living

I have never heard of one but wouldn’t it be interesting to have a beauty contest where no cosmetics, hair extensions or dyed or permed hair, sprayed on tans, or plastic surgery were allowed in the contestants? Wonder how many would actually try out for such a contest?

I agree, that would be interesting. Natural beauty is an important thing and it’s what we’re all made to enjoy, anyway.

Self - Nose piercing, Hurts like a wasp sting to push through. Help?

Posted by admin on Jul 17, 2010 under Self Help

It’s pretty far into my nose, And I can just feel the very tip of the needle through the last layer of skin on the inside of my nose.
But it hurts sooooo freaking bad. It stings so bad, Like it’s going through a vein or a nerve or something.
Is that normal? Or is my placement wrong?
When I try to push it through it makes my right temple hurt.

Any type of piercing is going to hurt since you’re putting a hole through your skin. Looks like you’re just going to have to hold your breath, clench, and jab it through. Just get it over with there’s no easy way to pierce yourself. That’s why it’s best to go to professionals, they don’t feel your pain, and they have all the right utensils. Plus if something goes wrong you can sue them. Nothing much you can do if something goes wrong from a self piercing but blame yourself. My ear felt like that when I got my 3rds done. It was because she pierced between cartridge and lobe. Hurt like a Mofo! The pain will go away in a few weeks. =] Just ask yourself: How bad do I REALLY want this nose ring? Then answer yourself by pushing it through or pulling it out. It’s your call.

What are some good ideas for healthy living and how can I stick to it?

Posted by admin on Jul 14, 2010 under Healthy Living

Ok, So I want to become more healthy (not thin) and whenever I have tried a healthy living plan it always goes to pieces very quickly and I can’t think of good ideas. I am not talking all about food (though some ideas would be appreciated) I mean maybe some day to day things that will make me a bit more healthy
thanks :)
Start small like walking for 10 minutes once a day or waking up early just to do some yoga or stretches. You can also eat more organic foods like silk instead of milk and try eating more veggies and fruits and less red meat. Even reading would be good for healthy living so instead of watching tv, pick up a book or a magazine. Good Luck!

I really appreciate/need any self-help advice I can get…?

Posted by admin on Jul 14, 2010 under Self Help

Serious answers only please. I’m looking for a good self-help book, or something. I’m not sure what because I have never felt this down before and I need it to stop. Here’s a little bit about me:

I’m a college student going through a major slump right now. I basically got bullied by some immature girls and my bosses allowed it, the I ended up getting fired for sticking up for myself in a meeting. This job was making it possible for me to afford school, so now I don’t know if I’ll be able to return. I got a 3.165, I was expecting at least a 3.3. My grandpa died 2 months ago. 2 weeks after that we had to put my dog down. I have been looking for a job for the past month, nobody is hiring and those that are are not hiring me. I just got scammed with a $50 "background check" fee for a nonexistent job. My best friend, since 7th grade, planned a camping trip with another good friend of mine and they will be camping with another mutual friend and are seeing our whole "group" of college friends this weekend, we’re all college best friends. I found out about it 2 days ago and was not invited (I keep getting texts asking why I’m not coming, and all I can say back is "I wasn’t invited," which makes me feel extra shitty). I’m not sure why I wasn’t invited and who’s behind it. I also gained 20 lbs in the past year and a half, but cannot get motivated to work out (My weight has always been something I’m self-conscious of and the extra weight has destroyed my self-esteem. I blame my weight for not getting hired, not going out, and not having anyone more than a friend in my life).

I got out of school at the beginning of May and since then I have not gone out, or done anything besides sit around the house really. I don’t feel worthy to have fun (or to be any kind of sexually active). I’m embarrassed to have gained so much weight, still be jobless, and have gotten such shitty grades. I also am not a fan of most the people I live around. They are all skinny and rich, and have given the vibe that they think they are better than me for as long as I can remember. I have only kept in touch with a handful of people since high school, and out of those I only want to make an effort to hangout with 3 of them.

I’m going crazy not doing anything, but also do not want to do anything…if that makes any sense. It’s hard to explain. If anyone has any advice/can recommend a book to read to help me out of this slump, I’d really appreciate it. I’ve never felt like this before and I do not know what to do. I want to feel better before it can get any worse. I know this isn’t healthy. I am normally a happy person.

So you have had major stress events back to back….enter lack of B vitamins…stress loves to eat B vitamins like no tomorrow. Lack of B vitamins…enter depression/lack of motivation/low serotonin central. I can highly recommend B vitamins (under the tongue oral vitamin sprays are brillant - 20 seconds into the blood stream). Digestive enzyme supplements are fantastic to help with digestive problems and losing weight. As for books, you could look through google books…some have most of the book to read online.
