A shelf that is 1 foot wide and 25 feet long is 25 square feet. Any two numbers multiplied together that equals 25 is the same as the shelf you are looking for.

A 5×5 is great for storing small seasonal items, extra clothing boxes, office supplies, books, or other small items. Typically they have 8-10 foot high ceilings so if you pack well you may fit more than you expect into one of these smaller units.
