How is it self-hating to not be attracted to black men?

I’m biracial and I don’t find black men physically attractive. My father is black and love hm and all of my black relatives, but I just am way more attracted to white men. I can’t help how I feel, so why is this self-hate?
It’s not, unless you chose to dislike someone because of their skin color, despite the fact that everything else about them is perfect for you.

Hmmm Ok Im in the SAME boat.. Im black and white too same mix like you . I like white guys more and prefer them BUT if Prince Charming came along and he was black instead of white I would still go for him. Its only self hate when you dont want to be with a blk man because you dont want your children to be dark or have black hair etc etc

Racist stereotypical people will tell you it is, but we all have our preferences. Date whoever you want. Skin color shouldn’t matter, as long as the man is good to you. Don’t hate yourself for being attracted to another human being, no matter what race he is.

It’s not self hate, everyone just seems to think every Black woman is supposed to be loyal to Black men, which isn’t the case. Nobody calls it self hate when a Black man goes for a White girl.

No, and you shouldn’t care what anyone says it just a preference that’s all. I’m not attracted to black men at all and, i’m all black. I have different reasons as I am sure you do to. I know lot’s of black women who agree with me. Some don’t date them because like us they’re not physically attracted others because of social reasons. What I think is dumb is that no one thinks it’s wrong to say I won’t date outside of my race. It’s not wrong to not want black men. Some people only date blondes, some people only date short people, some only skinny people it’s your choice. don’t let anyone make you feel that you have to be with someone you’re not attracted to just because they share you’re skin color. You’re not alone you know, Diana Ross only white men, Whoopi Goldberg, the list goes on and on. Go to the website Black Women Deserve Better it has lots of videos.

I’m not biracial and I’m not attracted to black men either. People say that I’m self-hating but I don’t care. I mean really no one questions when black men date outside their race why all the cause for concern when black women do it. I say be you, do you and be with whomever you want because at the end of the day, you are the one who has to spend your time with the guy, go to bed with the guy and if he’s lucky marry the guy.
